Both our volunteers time and foster space is extremely limited. We have a waiting list for foster space for cats and kittens that are currently living in desperate situations. When a cat or kittens get adopted, it frees up foster space, and we immediately fill that space with those on the waiting list.
‼️ PLEASE, DO NOT APPLY TO ADOPT UNLESS YOU CAN GIVE OUR RESCUES A HOME STRAIGHT AWAY. IF YOU HAVE A HOLIDAY BOOKED, PLEASE APPLY ON YOUR RETURN.
PLEASE, ANSWER OUR CALLS AS SOON AS YOU CAN. WE UNDERSTAND CIRCUMSTANCES CHANGE, SO IF YOU ARE NO LONGER LOOKING PLEASE LET US KNOW SO WE DON'T LOSE PRECIOUS TIME TRYING TO REACH YOU.
ALL adoptions require a home check to be passed and a minimum adoption donation of £120 per kitten and £90 per adult. This covers applicable neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and flea & worm treatment.
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Complete our Adoption Application Form.
An adoption cannot be made without a completed application and a home check.
2. Home Check
Once we have received your application, one of our volunteers will call for a home check. This will be as soon as possible but can take a little longer if we have a lot of applications at the same time. Be sure to include the best time to call you for a home check in your application. It is not uncommon for us to have a list of potential adopters to home check, and sometimes a waiting list for cats with specific characters and needs - those we speak to first will take priority.
You will need ID and proof you own your home or have permission from the landlord to keep a pet. Please do not apply unless you have this information as we cannot progress your application without it. We do not rehome cats near to hazards such as, but not limited to, main or busy roads and train tracks.
Please understand that due to the volume of work our volunteers carry out, we don’t always have the time to reply to expressions of interest to those that have not already filled out an application or been home checked.
We match our cats and kittens according to their needs and the suitability of potential adopters. Their needs will be specified on their Facebook post.
