Dr. Dhananjay is a Padma Shri Awardee and Chief Operating Officer at Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission. Spanning more than 4 decades, he has been tirelessly serving the tribals of Muttil, Wayanad, creating awareness about primary healthcare. His perseverance and expertise has now changed the stubborn negative stance of the tribals of Wayanad towards modern medicine, yielding positive results.
