NZSA CPD EXEMPTION FORM

Members undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to maintain their capability to deliver a quality service that applies up-to-date specialist skills and knowledge and demonstrates ethical behaviour, while being subject to professional oversight.

All members of the NZSA are required to do CPD, including student members. If you are not providing a Professional Service (as defined in PS10) you can apply to Council in writing for an exemption from the CPD requirements. Conditions may apply to any exemption.

If you have declared Non-Practicing Status then you are exempted from CPD. PS10 will be reviewed so that in the future; non-practicing status will be the only way to be exempted from CPD. Until that change is made members can choose to either complete the exemption form or declare non-practicing status to be exempted by emailing society@actuaries.org.nz
