Virtual Exchange across the Border : AMSA Bangladesh & AMSA Indonesia (MCU)
Over the last decade the number of students participating in exchange program has risen sharply. Asian Medical Student Association (AMSA) had already arranged a number of successful exchange programs. AMSA believes exchange programs offers the medical students an opportunity of international learning and knowledge which spurs them towards an acceptance and understanding of an array of different cultural and community perspective. It also helps them to promote their campus diversity.

This year AMSA Bangladesh planned an amazing exchange program with Taiwan but unfortunately they had to drop the plan due to the pandemic the world is facing currently. But the pandemic could not stop the creative minds of the members of AMSA Bangladesh. So they came up with an amazing idea of arranging a “Virtual Exchange” program and invited AMSA Indonesia to be a part of it.

The concept of virtual exchange program is quite new and unique. It has multiple interesting segments like ice breaking sessions, cultural segments, academic group discussion, medical quiz and many more. The entire program will be conducted over ZOOM.

This program is offering students of both countries a chance of adoption of multi-faceted approaches to learning, academic scopes and diversities, language acquisition through practical  immersion and moreover a tremendous sense of accomplishment which will help them to develop individual opinion and strive to attain fresh goals.
