Freshman Class Leadership at Berkeley High School is a FALL semester program that allows you to further develop your leadership skills and learn about how things operate at BHS. You will learn about your level of leadership, taking initiative, delegation, developing a mission, marketing, event planning, setting priorities, gathering feedback, celebrating and recognizing others, as well as about your core values. Your team will participate in at least one event and one fundraiser with the option to serve at other leadership events. The freshman leadership team will include up to a maximum of 20 members.

Freshmen Leadership team members will work from September until the end of the first semester. They will receive elective credit. You must be able to attend weekly meetings that rotate between the morning and lunch: Monday morning meetings from 8:30-9:30 am or at lunch 12:23-1:03 pm.

Participate in a leadership camp, conference, or workshop with students from other schools.

Enroll and complete assignments for Leadership Study & Practice. This class meets once a week; occasional special meetings will require your attendance. You will receive five credits per semester.
