Naloxone Training March 14th Sign Up

This sign up is for a training on Tuesday March 14th, 4pm on MCV Campus. Sessions will be capped at 30 students per session.

The Pharmacology and Toxicology Student Organization have teamed up with Rams in Recovery to offer lay rescuer Naloxone training through the "REVIVE! Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education" program provided through the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health.

This training takes approximately one hour and includes a presentation about opioids, overdose, and how to respond in case of an emergency. The training is then followed by distribution of Naloxone to those interested in becoming a legal carrier of the medication.
