ROCmusic's Gospel Choir and ROCdrummers electives are open to students and community members not necessarily registered in a ROCmusic program track. The details are as follows:
Gospel Choir
The Gospel Choir is an opportunity for community members from all walks of life to come together and share the joy of singing.
Ages: 8 through adult
Day: Monday
Time: 6:30pm-7:30pm
Location: Gantt R-Center (700 North Street)
ROCdrummers
In ROCdrummers, students learn to make music on tubanos, a hand drum originating from African traditions.
Ages: 8-18
Day: Tuesday
Time: 4:15pm-5pm or 5pm-5:45pm
Location: Jackson R-Center (485 N Clinton Ave)
If you or your student is interested in joining one of these electives, please fill out the following Electives Registration Interest Form. Complete a separate form for each individual interested in registering. Please note, this form does not confirm a placement in the class. As responses are received, ROCmusic administrators will register students on a first come, first served basis. You will then receive a link to the “Fall 2023, Elective Registration & Contact Information Form.” This second form must be completed to confirm your or your child's registration.
