Developing Independent Learners: Helping children develop a healthy sense of independence and ownership of their own learning. *
Implementation of Standards-based Grading (Secondary students) and Literacy Acceleration (Elementary Students) *
Elementary schools are implementing a literacy acceleration plan TK-4 designed to ensure students read at grade level. Secondary schools (5-12) are working to align instruction and assessments to state-level standards with the potential end goal of modifying how we report student progress to students and parents.
