Tour of Enslaved Africans' Rain Garden
Thank you for registering for Woodlands Community Temple’s tour of the Enslaved Africans’ Rain Garden on Sunday, April 16. In preparation for the tour, you may enjoy listening to the “voices” of the enslaved Africans at http://enslavedafricansraingarden.org/video/.

We will meet at the Rain Garden, which is in front of 20 Water Grant Street in Yonkers (along the waterfront, 2 blocks south of Main Street). The tour will begin promptly at 1:00 pm and will be held rain or shine.

On-street parking is generally available. In addition, there is a Yonkers public garage at 20 Buena Vista Avenue, within easy walking distance.

If you need a ride, let us know and we will try to pair you with a driver – and, if you are driving and have space in your car for more passengers, let us know as well.

If you prefer to take the train, the Yonkers stop on the Hudson Line of Metro North is a short walk away.

Note:  If you are registered for the originally scheduled date and wish to participate on
April 16,  please re-register.
