Hi McKinley Parents & Caregivers,

We are looking forward to an awesome year ahead! We would never be able to support our incredible teachers, staff, students and families without YOUR help! In order to have as many families involved as possible, we want to make sure we are providing a number of opportunities to be involved, so that you can volunteer as much, or as little as you would like. Please use this form to check off all committees you would be interested in helping with. Your e-mail will be shared with the person in charge of each of those committees, and they will reach out. This is separate from signing up to volunteer at the carnival, school store shifts, etc. Please complete this form by September 15th.

New Families Ambassador - year round - point person for new families for questions

Garden - year round - works with teachers to organize planting, weeding, general upkeep

Green Team - year round - working to help with green initiatives

Yearbook - year round - help with picture collection, organization

Monthly Coffee/Hot Cocoa Cart - planning and helping with monthly coffee carts for staff

Sunshine Committee - year round - responsible for writing & delivering cards for staff birthdays, etc.

Grant Writer - year round - in charge of writing grant requests to benefit McKinley

Picture Day - September - help set up and organize volunteers

Halloween Costume Drive - October - help collect, wash, organize costumes for drive

World's Fair - December - help to plan & execute World's Fair

Holiday Show - Nov/Dec - support holiday show during practice & performance

Snowball Dance - January - help with planning, prep and day of help with dance

Reading Week - March - help plan & execute Reading Week

Carnival - April - help plan, set-up and clean up carnival

Teacher Appreciation Week - March/April/May - help plan & execute Teacher Appreciation Week

Art Show - May/June - coordinate with Art teachers for volunteers, set-up, and breakdown of art show

Family Picnic - June - help plan the end of year family picnic

5th Grade Committee - year round - 5th grade parents/guardians only - work to set up fundraising for the 5th grade
