John Luby Park No Ivy Day Event
Join the Russell Neighborhood Association and Portland Parks & Recreation for No Ivy Day at John Luby Park.  This 11-acre park has an impressive urban Douglas fir canopy that keeps summers cool and winters interesting. Come join us for a fun filled morning. At this event you will learn more about why invasive species are harmful, while specifically learning how to identify and remove invasive English Ivy.

Rain or shine! Please dress for the weather by wearing layers, rain gear, and sturdy shoes. Tools and gloves will be provided; however, you are welcome to bring your own gloves.

Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Location: John Luby City Park, NE 128th Avenue and Brazee Street, Portland 97230
Date and Time: Saturday, October 29, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Experience: No experience necessary! Volunteers of all ages welcome.
