It is crucial that you enter the date of the match, not the date you are entering the score. The Elo system rewards you more/less for beating stronger/weaker teams / punishes you more/less for losing to weaker/stronger teams. That means that the order in which the matches happen is essential (so the system knows how strong/weak each team was at the time of the match).

Please note that although score entry below is required, that is solely because it is an interesting anecdotal data point. We are well aware that many teams choose to put in JV sailors after a match has been decided, and thus a 4-1 or 3-2 score does not necessarily indicate a close match.
