Please complete this form by September 5, 2023 if you are interested in participating in JobsFirstNYC's Skills Mapping Academy beginning October 3, 2023.

If your organization is selected, you will be asked to participate fully in the learning cohort: 
  • Five 90-minute training sessions at 12:00 p.m. ET on October 3, 10, 17, and 31, and November 14, 2023. 
Our course, delivered by SkyHive's Training Team, is designed to give you the required knowledge and tools to effectively deliver training on SkyHive's Enterprise Platform. By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
  • Understand the core functionality of Skills Mapping technology on SkyHive.
  • Utilize the tech platform and explain the process to students and job seekers.
  • Train others to use the tech platform and best practices within. 
  • Support jobseekers to identify and match their skills to needs across jobs & industries.

Organizations should send 2 or more staff members to this virtual Academy. At least one staff member should work directly with jobseekers, ideally during the time of the Academy. Another staff member should have a leadership role that will support the implementation of skills mapping.

If not all staff can attend all sessions, please explain.
If your organization is selected to be a part of Skills Mapping, you will gain access to the SkyHive Enterprise platform, be trained on how to use it to benefit your students/job seekers, and make this opportunity available to a minimum of 50 of your students/job seekers. 

This is at no cost to you or your organization!

If your organization is selected to be a part of Skills Mapping,  you will complete reporting about jobseeker outcomes from use of the platform (including training completion, job interviews, job offers and jobs) and surveys about your experiences. *
If you cannot commit to completing reporting about jobseeker outcomes, please explain.
