The CCD is the home of the Conscious Cities Movement and we operate as an international grassroots think tank striving to accelerate systems change in the field of city-making. Our work primarily entails researching and evolving spaces that support wellbeing and resilience for individuals and communities through Conscious Design.

Our vision is to connect people, phenomena, and place by reconceptualizing design thinking and revitalising citymaking and push for a conscious model. Our mission is to develop Conscious Design as a framework for spatial theory and practice to spur intersectional dialogues, create tools, and catalyse the industry to evolve Conscious Cities.
