UPDATE: As of 5:00pm Monday, April 1st, we are operating on a WAITLIST system, where you are still welcome to sign up, but you will be put on a waitlist as people drop from the signup and will notify you whenever we have open spots for signups! Thank you for your understanding :)
On
Saturday, April 6th, volunteers will be volunteering with the Adopt-A-Beach organization in their efforts of maintaining and cleaning coastal beaches. We will be going to Galveston Beach, transportation and lunch will be provided! Event date is
subject to change due to weather conditions.
Be outside the
Student Center South at the MVP tent, from
7:15 am to 7:30 am for check-in and snacks! We will
depart by 7:40 am. We will then work with the Texas General Land Office to beautify the beach, and then depart at 1:00pm to r
eturn to campus by 2:15pm.
Students will receive an email regarding the event asking for confirmation of attendance, failure to confirm will result in assumed cancellation.
