This is a chance to add your voice to a new film being made to raise awareness and acceptance of autism.
The Jewellery Quarter Heritage Squad are making a film to raise awareness and acceptance of autism issues, exploring how autistic and neurodivergent people experience museums, heritage sites and other public places. To do this, we would like to know more about the experiences of people who are autistic and neurodivergent in these different spaces.
Neurodivergence includes those who live with Dyslexia, Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia and other sensory/neurological conditions.
Created by an autistic person, this survey is a tool to help us to create a film which is relevant, informative and participatory. All questions have been crafted to gain relevant data about all the diverse groups of autistic and neurodivergent people who visit museums and heritage sites. Anyone can take part in the survey, and it is entirely anonymous.
If you would also like to be involved in the autism film project, please email
kate.oconnor@jqdt.org. The opportunity to take part is open to all, but if you are 16 or under we require permission from parents or carers with initial contact from them.
You can find out more about the project by visiting
