Porterville Unified School District                      School Reopening Parent Survey
PUSD is asking for feedback from our families, students, and staff as we plan to reopen our schools. The PUSD Reopening Task Force will use information collected in this survey along with guidelines from both the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and California Department of Education (CDE) to develop our reopening plans. Given the constantly evolving circumstances, these plans are subject to change as public health guidelines are updated.

In the links below you will find these requirements in the following guidelines:

 • Face coverings for students and staff
 • Limited school site access to visitors and parents
 • Different meal serving plans such as in-classroom or outside
 • Reduced bus capacity to ensure social distancing
 • Alternative School Day Schedules to reduce the number of students in class
 • Classes held in alternate areas - outside spaces, cafeterias, gym, and auditoriums, etc.
 • Enhanced safety/cleaning of classrooms/hygiene
          • Social distancing
          • Hand sanitizer and emphasis on adult-supervised hand washing
          • Daily Temperature checks
