Fundamentals of Adsorption-16 Expression of interest
INTRODUCTION: The International Conference on the Fundamentals of Adsorption (FOA) is the premier international conference in the field of adsorption. The conference is organized by the International Adsorption Society (IAS). The FOA series of conferences started in 1983 and a conference in the series has been held since then every three years, rotating in an alternating manner between the USA, the Asian/Pacific area and Europe. The conference is attended by researchers in adsorption and related fields from throughout the world. Most of the attendees are chemical engineers but there are always also many chemists, physicists and members of other disciplines present. Moreover the level of industrial participation is high. Thus, the conference is an excellent forum for the exchange of ideas and information between scientists and industrial practitioners. A hallmark of the conference is its comprehensive coverage of the spectrum of fundamental research and applications of adsorption, ranging from molecular modeling and simulation of fluids adsorbed in porous materials to the design of pressure swing adsorption systems for industrial gas separation processes. Previous venues can be found here: https://www.int-ads-soc.org/foa/

FOA-16: The 16th edition of FOA is to be held in 2028 in Asia/Pacific. The IAS is soliciting expressions of interest (EOIs) from members to organize FOA-16. The chair of the organizing committee must be a current member of the IAS, and in good standing. An IAS committee will evaluate the submissions and the shortlisted EOIs will be asked to submit a detailed proposal. This form should be filled by the proposed chair of the conference. Questions can be directed to the Secretary (secretary@int-ads-soc.org)

RESUME/CV: Please send a copy of the chair's resume/CV to (secretary@int-ads-soc.org)
