This agreement releases Adalia Ellis of Aroha Latin Dance, LLC, Aroha Arts Collective, Aroha Afro Latin Dance assistant instructors, and guest instructors from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during Latin Dance Classes or Social Events. By signing this agreement, I agree to hold Adalia Ellis, of Aroha Latin Dance, LLC, Aroha Arts Collective, Aroha Afro Latin Dance assistant instructors, and guest instructors entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.

I also acknowledge the risks involved in Latin Dance Classes or Social Events. These include but are not limited to; minor injuries related to dance steps, turns, general movement. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me in this agreement. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity.

By signing below I forfeit all right to bring a suit against Adalia Ellis of Aroha Latin Dance, LLC, Aroha Arts Collective, Aroha Afro Latin Dance assistant instructors, and guest instructors, for any reason. In return, I will receive instruction in Latin Dance and can attend Social events. I will also make every effort to obey safety precautions as listed in writing and as explained to me verbally. I will ask for clarification when needed.

1) I, the undersigned, hereby authorize Aroha Latin Dance and Aroha Arts Collective to photograph me, take motion pictures of me, take video footage of me, and/or make electronic sound recordings of me (herein referred to as photographic or electronic reproductions).

2) I authorize the use of any such photographic or electronic reproductions of me for any purpose, including, but not limited to educational and other public media as may be deemed appropriate by Aroha Latin Dance and Aroha Arts Collective in perpetuity. (I understand that I may be identifiable from such photographic or electronic reproduction)

All of those who enter our studio space must wear a mask. In the event that this changes we will inform all students and will update our website to reflect this. On a case by case basis we may allow for non-mask wearing provided that individuals bring a negative covid test.

You commit to not come to class if you are feeling ill in anyway and will contact Aroha Afro Latin Dance if you test positive following a class or event.

Registration fees for classes are not refunded in the event that you miss a class due to being sick with covid or if we have to close the studio due to multiple students becoming sick.  We will provide alternate ways for you to learn what was taught in class.

Understanding that covid is spread in group settings and for that reason masking is required, you understand the risk and will not hold Aroha Afro Latin Dance responsible if you become exposed to or sick with covid.
