This log is for you and your child to use to keep a log of home reading. Please sign and make a comment (where appropriate) so that we know when your child has read with someone at home. Your child is also able to log their reading efforts onto this form.

Please try to read with your child as often as possible. Discuss the texts you read together and relate events and characters in the books to your own experiences using any pictures as further prompts to initiate conversations.

Most importantly, make reading a fun and rewarding experience and try to encourage reading for pleasure.
