We are excited that you’re applying to the Readiness Institute Summer Program. Our goal with the Summer Program is to help you and other rising high school seniors prepare for future success. Throughout the Summer Program, you’ll be able to shape your pathway to your future through a variety of learning experiences, building connections to fellow Summer Program learners and your community.

The questions in this application are your opportunity to tell us about yourself, and for us to get to know you through your responses. While there are no right or wrong answers, we want you to be thoughtful in your responses. We’ll use your responses to determine if you’re a good fit for our program and the goals we have set for Summer Program learners this year.

At the end of the application, we’ll ask you to identify a recommender for us to contact after you submit your application who can tell us more about you. The recommender should be someone who knows you well and can speak to your skills and strengths (e.g., a teacher, counselor, coach, work supervisor, etc.)

Please keep in mind that we can’t accept every application. The Summer Program is limited to 45 learners and is currently only open to rising seniors who attend school in Allegheny County.
