Healthy Food Day of Action
Join us for our third Healthy Food Day of Action on Wednesday, May 17th.

This is a day when we march to City Hall and hand over petitions and letters from students and all New Yorkers who want food justice in New York City.

We are asking Mayor Adams and the NYC Council to fund school and community farm stands in all underserved, food-insecure, low-income neighborhoods so everyone has the same access to healthy choices, not just the most affluent neighborhoods.

Schedule:
9-10 am: Meet at Brooklyn Borough Hall - make signs and get ready to march
10-11am - March over Brooklyn Bridge to City Hall Park
11-12:30 - News conference, public speaking, reading of letters by students and adults PLUS  students meet. with representatives of the Mayor's Office and City Council Members to hand over letters and petitions

Want to join us? Want to help organize? Just fill in below.

If you are a teacher or principal or representing any school, just let us know if you'd like us to come in. We have volunteers to coach students and to assist teachers to write the letters as part of our food justice curriculum.
