Please complete the survey regarding your opinions relating to the topics discussed during the annual stakeholder meeting on June 3 and 4, 2021. Deadline for completing the survey is June 18, 2021. If you would like a paper copy of this survey or a copy of the Title I District Plan/Goals, please reach out to your child's school or contact the Title I Office at 336-591-4319. In reviewing the district Parent and Family Engagement Policy (PFE Policy) updated in February 2021, what is your stance on the current policy? Policy can be located at https://4.files.edl.io/bc74/02/16/21/212908-22dc09b3-77ca-4279-9019-c86cbc5ea3dc.pdf. *

The current policy is worded appropriately and meets the district needs.

The current policy is okay, but I would recommend adding language regarding supports and engagement for remote/virtual learning.

The current policy needs to be reviewed by a larger stakeholder group to rewrite the policy to be more inclusive of all groups.

If you would like to see the PFE policy revised, what recommendations do you have to make the policy more inclusive? (optional)

What allotment methodology should be used for the calculation of the parent and family engagement set aside? *

Continue the method used as 1% of the total Title I allotment with 90% of the 1% distributed for use at the school level (minimum level)

Use 1% of total Title I funding but increase amount going to schools to 95% of the 1%

Use 1% of total Title I funding with 100% distributed to the schools.

Which option do you support for PreK allocation of Title I Funds? *

Decrease the set aside to $95,000 for a PreK teacher and teacher assistant

Maintain the set aside at approximately $108,000 for two PreK teachers

Increase the set aside to $165,000 for the PreK program

Decrease the set aside to $60,000 for the PreK program

Provide no set aside for PreK

Which option do you support for Professional Development for Teachers of Title I Schools? (PD will still require district level approval for compliance.) *

Provide no set aside funding for PD at the district level and allow schools to make that decision with their school level set aside

Decrease the set aside to $5,000 for district support of PD

Continue to set aside $10,000 for district support of PD

Which option do you support as a set aside for homeless student assistance for the homeless students in the district? *

Continue the set aside at the per pupil allotment - approximately $27,000.

Increase the set aside above the per pupil allotment to $40,000.

Continue with $20,000 (same as this past year) from Title I and allow remaining amount to come from Transportation budget.

I listened to the recording of the stakeholder presentation that was posted.

I reviewed the PowerPoint that was used during the presentation to get more information.
