Our volunteers, staff, parents, community partners and donors are all part of a strong and successful 4-H program here in Green County. Together, we make a positive difference for our youth.
This year the Green County 4-H Adult Leaders is giving out three awards to recognize those key individuals and organizations that help to make Green County 4-H a success.

· Friend of 4-H Award - This award recognizes an individual, group, organization, or business who demonstrates exemplary service to and support of 4-H.

· 4-H Lifetime Volunteer Award (10 or more years) - This award is for a 4-H leader who has served 10 or more years at the local, county, district or state level, and demonstrates exemplary service to 4-H, while promoting service through volunteerism as both an opportunity and a privilege.

· 4-H Volunteer of the Year Award (less than 10 years) - This award recognizes individuals who have served as a 4-H leader for less than 10 years, and models a great ability to work with young people on projects and activities in a way that promotes positive youth development opportunities.

You are invited to nominate individuals or organizations that you feel are deserving of consideration for these awards.  If you aren't sure which category the individual belongs in, just go ahead and nominate them and we'll make sure they end up in the correct category based on their volunteer status.
