WHAT IS A MENTOR?
We want to know our participants as individuals – understanding their strengths, their weaknesses, what they know and what they don’t know and use this to guide and educate them throughout their programme at Generational Mentor.
For this to be achieved, we need a group of inspiring people, able to support 1-2 participants each over the course of the programme.... we need mentors!

Essentially, as a mentor you:

-Have one-on-one sessions with the participants that you’ll be supporting, enabling you to get to know them on a personal level
-Support and guide them throughout the programme, answering any questions that they may have and pointing them in the direction of the right people to speak to
-Have an opportunity to guide and advise a group of enthusiastic students, in an encouraging and motivating atmosphere

WHAT IS A MEMBER?
In order for things to run smoothly, we need dedicated people to help us by being on the ground, as our chain of university representatives, as well as facilitators to help us run the leadership programme.

Member will be those who do not want to apply as a tutor or mentor but still want to get involved in Generational Mentor. We will expects parents and relatives to be interested in this option.
