All parents across Te Kāhui Ako o Waitematā are warmly invited to a parent session led by Dr Judith Locke. This session will take place at Western Springs College on Thursday 2nd June 6:30 - 7:30pm.

The session:
Helping your 8 to 14-year-old child become confident and capable at school. This parenting session details practical strategies to encourage children’s confidence, resilience, and self-regulation in their schooling and schoolwork, in an era where many parents overdo assistance and care for their children.

The presenter:
Dr Judith Locke is a clinical psychologist and former school counsellor, teacher,
and workplace trainer. She is the author of two parenting books,
The Bonsai Child and The Bonsai Student. Judith speaks to parents and teachers throughout Australia and New Zealand on topics related to parenting, resilience, and psychological wellbeing.
