DCG School Instrument Rental & Care Policy

The Dallas Center-Grimes Community School District is pleased to give students the opportunity to participate in our fine band program by offering the rental of some school instruments at a nominal charge.

This program is designed for students to play instruments that are more expensive to purchase, or for some students to have a second instrument to play for a specific ensemble. The money generated by this program is used for the upkeep of our existing instruments, and the purchase of new equipment. Students utilizing this program are asked to pay the rental fee and reasonable repairs or damages that happen while the student uses the instrument.

School Rental Fee $115 per school year (Summer Rental $25)
Percussion Rental $75 per school year (Summer Rental $25)
