USC's LGBTQ+ Student Center invites you to find and build community with other LGBTQ+ students through our weekly programs. Some weekly spaces are topic/interest based; while other affinity spaces may be designed to serve a specific, intersectional community and those folks who hold those identities, all LGBTQ+SC programs are open to all students.
Indicating your interest on this form means you will receive updates about upcoming meetings.
Find a brief description of each space below - meeting days/times will be added once confirmed:
• Ace/Aro Space: An intentional space for students who identify as asexual, aromantic, demisexual, or anywhere on the ace and/or aro spectrums.
• Bi+ Spaces: An intentional space for students who identify as bisexual, polysexual, pansexual, and/or another non-monosexual identity to connect with others in the USC Bi+ community.
• Beyond the Binary: Beyond the Binary is the LGBTQ+SC’s weekly space for trans, non-binary, gender non-conforming, and gender questioning folks to be in community with one another.
• Friends of Sappho: Friends of Sappho is a community for women who love women. We invite anyone who feels a connection to sapphic communities and are intentionally inclusive of bi women, trans women, and non-binary and gender non-conforming people.
• Queer and Trans People of Color (QTPOC) Lounge: The Queer/Trans People of Color (QTPOC) Lounge is an intentional space for BIPOC LGBTQ+ students to come hangout and build community.
• Queer Book Club: An open space to discuss a new LGBTQ+ book each semester. Engage in regular book conversations, get book/reading recommendations, and join a tight-knit group with a passion for queer literature.
• Queer Fandom Fanatics: A weekly space for folks to geek out and talk about all things pop culture (tv, movies, comics, video games, fandom, etc) through a queer, intersectional lens.
• QND: An intentional space for queer, neurodivergent
students to build community in a safe space where their experiences and
identities are validated. Engage in discussions and activities where
differences are accommodated and affirmed through an intersectional lens.
• Queerituality - a community of 2SLGBTQ+ USC students and friends exploring the intersections of queerness and spirituality. Whether you’re seeking answers, understanding, friendship, or a safe space to be your authentic self, come explore, question, and celebrate with us. Activities span from discussing such topics as finding the sacred in queerness to exploring divination practices. **Hosted bi-weekly by Office of Religious & Spiritual Life
• Rainbow International: A weekly intentional space where LGBTQ+ international students can come together to discuss topics ranging from their queer experiences in their nation(s) to pop culture and food.
