As this is not a workshop, but a practice based community space, there will be no lecture style learning. We will be sharing and speaking in Circle, interacting with one another and the Land, none of which is ADA accessible sadly. With that said, do you have any other accessibility needs that we can strive to meet? *

Weekend Immersive Schedule is changeable depending on the weather, temperatures, and how the practices move. Trella’s system cannot tolerate the high heat and sun of the day- so the day’s rhythm may shift and change to make it sustainable depending on how the weather and temps move, as well as tending to what emerges for everyone.

Covid vaccination required- no exceptions. Please email an image of your vaccination card to: phoenixfarmsouthcentralpa@gmail.com with Summer Solstice Immersive Vaccination Proof in the subject line.

No prior experience is required- but a willingness to be deeply present, tend to and witness yourself and others with a compassionate heart, share some of your story and what is emerging for you will all go towards contributing to the collective experience in a good way. Thank you in advance for contributing and being of good mind and heart.

Please provide your own camping gear. There is plenty of space to pitch a tent, or put up a hammock in the barn or outside somewhere. For an additional $20 per night, there is a 17ft camper that sleeps two available. Please inquire if you're interested in the camper- it will be first come /first serve to reserve it.

An outdoor shower and composting toilet are available. No indoor bathroom use.

Food Share: Phoenix Farm will provide gluten-free pasta, rice, farm fresh eggs, fresh greens from the garden, teas, fresh herbs from the garden for drinks, and there are multiple outdoor spigots to fill water bottles from the well. Please bring some staples to contribute to all potluck meals. If you’re not able to travel with food items, please add $30 to your monetary investment in the shared weekend.

Feel welcome to bring items and materials to use in the practices, such as: cloth, ribbon, shells, stones, rocks, art, herbs, salt, cornmeal, or other items that can support you in casting a protective circle, adorning/staking down your place, and putting down offerings for any materials gathered, or just as a love-note to the land.

Feel welcome to bring items to put into the community fire on Saturday and Sunday night for a cleanse and release.

Phoenix Farm is semi-rugged terrain. Although there will be paths to walk in most places that we spend time, the ground is uneven, and depending on the weather, it can be muddy, and proper footwear is a must. Please bring a pair of waterproof shoes/rainboots, as well as hearty hiking boots, and multiple extra pairs of socks. As well, there are ticks, mosquitos, multiple varieties of bees and stinging insects, poison ivy, and many types of thorned bushes- so to protect your skin, please wear long pants, long sleeve shirts, a hat, and whatever bug repellent that you like to use.

PLEASE do not leave any food in your tents or cars if your windows are down.The critters will find it-- and "liberate" it.

Animals that you may hear, see, or possibly smell while on Phoenix Farm: many flying and crawling insects, an abundance of birds, bears, foxes, raccoons, weasels, owls, coyotes, skunks, deer, turtles, snakes, turkeys, and others.

Reciprocity: To make this work sustainable for Trella, $450 is the requested investment. Tiers at $378, $342, $270, and $198 + a pay what you can option are available. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Upon completion of registration, an email will be sent to you on how to submit your payment of investment. ****10% of all money collected for Speed of the Land will be donated to a First Nations Organization that is supporting Indigenous folks with food security and land access, health issues, or historical healing.
