Adoption Agreement- Please read Carefully!
1. I agree that the animal described is being adopted solely as a pet for the Adopter and or the immediate family.  I agree to not sell, give away, or otherwise dispose of said animal to any person(s), dealer, retailer, auction, institute, or any other entity for any reason.  If at any later date I am unable or unwilling to keep this pet I agree to first contact the adoption agent listed above and give them the option to reclaim said animal at no charge.  
2. I hearby agree to care for the described pet in a humane and responsible manner as an INDOOR ONLY pet and to provide it with adequate shelter, food, water and vetinary care.  
3. I further understand that the adoption fee of $150. is NON-REFUNDABLE and helps cover the cost of medical and basic care for the animal while in the adoption agents care and allows for the continuation of the rescue's efforts to help animals like this one. 
4. I certift that all statements made on this adoption agreement and contract are true and correct.  I agree that the adoption agent has the right to confiscate the animal described in the event that any statements made by me are found to be false.  
5.  I agree to NOT DECLAW the described cat(s) as it is an inhumane practice and in fact banned in many states including New York.
6.  I understand that Happy Cat Adopt belives the animal is healthy to the best of their knowledge when adopted out, and will NOT BE responsible for and injuries, illnesses, or accidents (bite's scratches, etc.) from the cat once adoption agreement is signed. 
Adopter will sign actual Adoption Application before placement. Adoption fee is $150.
