European and associated National Young Academies, the Young Academy of Europe and the Global Young Academy urge Members of the European Parliament and national governments to act against the proposed cuts in the budget of Horizon Europe in 2021-2027 and to restore it at least to the initially agreed €94.4bn and to prioritise funding of Pillar 1 initiatives.

We encourage all people and institutions who recognise the importance of research and agree with our postulates to support our letter through the following form*.
