DiscoverSTEM Exhibitor Application

DIscoverSTEM 2019 will take place on Monday, November 4 in the cafeteria of Acton-Boxborough Regional High School. Please complete form no later than October 15th, 2019 to confirm your participation, exhibit details, and needs. (We will accept applicants on a rolling basis, so it is better if you submit your form early.) You can always update your information closer to the event date, but we cannot guarantee that changes or additions made after October 15 will be included in our printed programs.

If your application is accepted (the only reason it wouldn't is if we have too many applicants with overlapping exhibits), you will be paired with a student volunteer, who will help you present your exhibit contents to visitors. We recommend you budget your time so you can see the other exhibits!

Set-up and light dinner will take place from 5pm to 6pm. The Discover STEM Event Open House will be from 6pm to 8:30pm. The Discover STEM 2019 website is: http://www.actonpip.org/discoverstem.  

Acton-Boxborough Regional High School (ABRHS) is located at 36 Charter Road, Acton, MA. The best entrance is the main entrance circle of the high school off Mass Ave, Route 111.  (You can use the back entrance off Hayward Rd for loading and unloading.) Space and equipment needs: Please try to be self-sufficient with your battery-powered computer and A/V equipment because we have limited resources. Each exhibitor will have one 6-ft diameter table and 2-3 chairs, unless otherwise requested. The area will have limited wireless internet access (please consider downloading files that you may need to your laptop); a limited number of laptops (upon request) will be available with online access via the AB school network. Please bring your own extension cords, as outlets are limited. Student volunteers will be assigned to help exhibitors move equipment, set up the exhibit, ”show and run” the exhibit, and clean up.

Sponsor Opportunity: AB PIP is seeking sponsors to help cover Discover STEM expenses and fund ongoing AB PIP STEM educational enrichment activities including our annual STEM scholarships.
