We are soliciting your interest in participating in a jamboree entitled "Prioritizing microbial taxa and samples for cultivation". The objective would be to generate a position paper by delving into a census of bacterial and archaeal genomes (isolates and MAG) in relation to the uncaptured diversity arising from metagenomes. The jamboree also aims to bring together scientists with access to unique environmental samples and cultivation specialists, each with unique insights and perspectives to help develop recommendations.
