ASIST 2-Day Workshop Registration

This training will be hosted by NAMI Virginia. Please register three weeks ahead of the workshop to ensure all training materials can be acquired. You can expect to be contacted by a NAMI Virginia representative to confirm your attendance promptly following your registration. 

ASIST is a two-day intensive, interactive, and practice-dominated course designed by LivingWorks to help caregivers recognize and review risk, and intervene to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. It is by far, the most widely used, acclaimed, and researched suicide intervention training workshop in the world.

Terms:

  • ASIST Trainings are held on two consecutive days from 8:30am to 4:30pm
  • Participation in the full two days is mandatory, please plan accordingly.
  • Notification of a need to cancel is very much appreciated.
  • Please arrive early each day, as we will begin promptly at 8:30 am.
  • This training is offered at no cost. A $50 cancellation fee will be charged if registration is canceled within three weeks of the training.
