Please use this form to request a bus stop for your student(s) who are new to the district or have recently moved and need to utilize bus transportation. This form can also be used to request bus stop changes during the summer months though September 30th.
Please do not submit duplicate requests. Due to the number of requests received, please allow up to three weeks for a response. Responses are sent to the email indicated on the form.

PLEASE READ ENTIRELY BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR REQUEST-***Walled Lake Consolidated Schools has worked diligently to consolidate bus stops in an effort to operate as efficiently as possible. Bus stop placement is determined based on legal criteria that has been set by Federal, State, and Local authorities, along with WLCSD policies.
***Beginning with the 2022-23 School year, bus stops at home addresses that were located within residential communities were reestablished to the nearest intersection that falls within our routing criteria. This change will allow our communities to have consistent bus stop locations that will be used year after year, reduce yearly changes to bus routes, and eliminate concerns related to outdated bus stop locations for advancing/graduated students.
Please note that the following scenarios exist throughout the district and are not criteria that will be considered for bus stop change requests.
*A bus passing a student's home
*Inclement weather
*Sidewalk placement
*Other children in the home needing care
*Bus stop not visible from the home
*Morning darkness
*Neighborhood disputes
*Parent/Guardian's inability to be at the bus stop
