The Milton Public Schools (MPS) has initiated a program to assign each student a Google Chromebook computer as well as a charger. Please complete this Form for each elementary student in your family. Participation in this program is subject to the expectations, terms, and conditions listed in this form.

Please check the boxes indicating you and your student agree to the following Student Behavior Expectations: *

I will bring my Chromebook to school - fully charged - every day.

I will not eat or drink around my Chromebook.

I will keep my Chromebook in its case throughout the school day as well as outside of school hours

I will use my Chromebook only as directed by a teacher and only for educational purposes.

I will not use my school Chromebook to play games, chat, watch movies/videos, stream music, shop, or otherwise engage in off-task/ non-school related behavior

I will use my school Gmail/Google account for school purposes only.

I will not use my school Gmail/Google account for personal/non-school related activities, such as to follow or sign up for playlists, mailing lists, notifications, etc. unless specifically directed to do so by a teacher.

I will not touch or use another student’s Chromebook unless invited to do so for school-specific work/collaboration.

I will not share my password with another student.

I will not access another student’s account.

I will not attempt to bypass or disable any school Chromebook / technology system ( Wi-Fi, filters, security, etc.)

I will maintain a protective attitude towards my Chromebook and avoid being rough or careless with or around my Chromebook.

I will continue to abide by the clear guidelines of being considerate, appropriate, responsible, ethical, and respectful in my use of all of technology and Chromebook use.

I will not decorate the Chromebook with non-removable stickers, art, jewels...
