I am currently composing a piece for orchestra and youth chorus in collaboration with the Eureka Ensemble and the Chelsea Collaborative in Boston, MA. The piece deals with the immigrant experience in the United States, and I've used ideas provided by immigrant youth in order to write it. I would also like to present comments and observations from and by other immigrants like me before the music starts, as part of the piece.
