Dear Friends,

The North Avondale Neighborhood Association (NANA) is excited to provide an opportunity for Highschool students to accumulate "Community Service Hours" and/or "Volunteering Hours".

Your volunteering will help us beautify our neighborhood with chemical free sustainable methods. They will work with an experienced NANA beautification committee member at their flexible hours and will get a certificate of Community Service/Volunteering hours.

Let us come forward to bring leadership, community building, and service by participating.

A little about Megan Rothe, our  NANA beautification committee member!
I began my community service career in elementary school by joining the Environmental Club, and working with special needs students. I continued my service into high school through Key Club and American Red Cross Youth. During my time at Xavier University I was in the Sierra Club and Take Back the Night; as an adult I've done the Big Brothers/Sisters Program, am a Hoxworth 3-Gallon member and enjoy fostering cats for Ohio Alley Cat Rescue. I enjoy gardening and beautification projects, so when I moved to North Avondale in 2021 I reached out to the North Avondale Neighborhood Association (NANA) to see where I could be of service. The Washington Triangle area needed attention and with the help of my co-chair we were able to greatly improve the overall appearance.

I work in finance during the day and I enjoy doing hot yoga, karaoke, or checking out Cincinnati's food and music scenes with friends in the evening. I love camping, kayaking, traveling, and making plans for to cross off bucket list experiences!
We are super excited to see you!!
