The Poetry Book Workshop and Book launch

This practical workshop introduces Sheena and Louise’s new book The Poetry Book. When students write poetry, it enriches their language and vocabulary, encourages creative thinking and develops reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. All students benefit from writing poetry but ‘at risk’ and reluctant writers can experience particular success from the creative but scaffolded nature of poetry.

Venue: Logan Park High School auditorium

Time: 4 - 6.30pm (afternoon tea from 4-4.30pm)

Cost:

$25 for OLA members

$35 for non members

$15 for UOCE students

NOTE: The Poetry Book will be available for purchase and take away on the day. Teachers can request an invoice or complete the credit card details on the order form.
