Regional Networking Sessions
The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is bringing educators, service providers and parents together to brainstorm and network. You will learn about skills gaps and where transition students are falling short directly from the sources within your region: employers and post-secondary educators. Centrum for Disability Services will be speaking about the importance of work and youth acquiring work credits. If you work with youth, you won't want to miss this brainstorming session.

Planned Session Locations and times:
SESSION 1: Sheridan - Tuesday, January 14th from 10am to 2pm at Sheridan Memorial Hospital Community Conference Room (61 South Gould Street).
SESSION 2: Rock Springs - Wednesday, February 12th from 10am to 2pm at White Mountain Library (2935 Sweetwater Drive, Rock Springs, WY 82901)
SESSION 3: Laramie - Thursday, March 19, 2020 at Albany County Public Library (310 S. 8th Street, Laramie, WY 82070)
SESSION 4: North East Corner of the state or Zoom depending on weather

10am Introductions and the importance of work and work credits for special populations and youth
11am Employer and Post-Secondary panel on where students are falling short when they transition to employment or
post-secondary education
12pm Working, employer sponsored lunch and brainstorming solutions and action steps to help close gaps and ease
transitions from high school to college or work.
1pm Share outs and making connections
1:30pm Vocational Rehabilitation updates, tools, assessments, resources,
supports and closing.
2pm End of session, travel home
