Thanks for volunteering to help the PPA for the 2021-2022 school year. Your application for either an Executive Board or Chairperson position must be submitted no later than Wednesday, April 7, 2021. All Chairperson and Executive Board Officer positions are two-year terms. For current chairpersons that have served their two years, you can re-sign up for consideration. No individual may serve as the same committee chairperson unless no one applies for the position and then it becomes a year-to-year commitment with an additional two-year maximum in the same position.
Participation on the Stevenson PPA Executive Board and Chairpersons requires attendance at the monthly meetings which occur approximately 8 times a year. Executive Board Members also meet before the PPA General Meetings. In addition, these roles may require providing additional help at the Open Houses, Orientation, Showcase, etc.
All Chairpersons and Executive Board Members must be a paid member of the PPA (during SHS registration) and have a background check completed through the school (good for 4 years).
PLEASE NOTE: Volunteer signups to help with individual events occur through the SHS Volunteer Sign Up during student registration in the summer.
