Information on Staffer Positions Available:
Staffers are integral to running a successful Model UN committee. They are crucial in executing a committee director's vision, due to their multifaceted roles and responsibilities. Staffers come in many forms: chairs, co-chairs, and crisis staffers.

Co-chairs sit next to chairs and hold the primary responsibility of record-keeping: tracking the list of speakers, counting votes, etc. Chairs and co-chairs often switch roles and collaborate extensively with the goal of running an effective committee. Together, they are known as the Dias. GAs, specs, and crisis committees all have diases.

Unique to crisis committees are crisis staffers. Crisis staffers are responsible for executing their director and delegate's crisis arcs by responding to crisis notes in a timely and appropriate manner. They also help create crisis updates that move along arcs. During these crisis updates, crisis staffers often act out scenarios or deliver the news through creative multimedia usage. Specialized committees will often have crisis staffers that do not answer notes, but instead help in executing these crisis updates. Crisis coordinators (CCs) are a step-up in responsibility from crisis staffers. Due to their leadership role, this position has a separate application that can be found at https://tinyurl.com/SUNMUNCC. There is no need to fill out this application if you wish to be a CC.

Logistics staffers are more of a general helping hand for the conference. They help set up the logistics of the conference: organizing committee rooms, setting up for opening and closing ceremonies, and help with pick-up at the end of everyday.
