Leader In Training (LIT) Program Application

Program Overview

The two week Leader in Training (LIT) Program is designed to help young people in the growth of their 21st Century Skills, preparing them for life beyond high school. CSM is driven to support teens in their development of these much-needed skills through a fun, engaging and inclusive experience at summer camp. The two-week LIT program aligns with college and career readiness skills and focuses on communication, critical-thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, and creativity. LIT Campers will receive hands-on leadership experience, an opportunity to complete 30 volunteer hours and a certificate of completion.

To Apply:

Complete this Leader in Training (LIT) Application by December 31, 2023. Letter of Recommendation forms should be mailed or scanned/emailed by the person completing the form. 

Camp staff will review this application and campers will be registered in a LIT session. 

Campers will be notified of their session by February 1, 2024.

Summer 2024 Sessions

LIT 1 – June 30-July 6 & July 7- July 12 (B & C weeks)

LIT 2 – July 14 – July 20 & July 21- July 26 (D & E weeks)

LIT 3 – Jul 28-Aug 3 & Aug 4-Aug 9 (F & G weeks)

LIT 4 – Aug 11-Aug 17 & Aug 18-Aug 23 (H & I weeks)

*All campers will go home in between their 2-week session.

Applicant must either:

• Be at least 15 years old by June 30, 2024 (regardless of grade) or 

• Be at least 15 years old by December 1, 2024, and in the graduating class of 2027


Cost and Financial Aid

Camp Stella Maris works hard to provide all children the opportunity to attend summer camp. If the cost of the LIT program is difficult for your family, please request a Campership Application after completing the LIT Application Process.
