3- Week Academy at Pioneer Elementary School

No school on Fridays and June 19 

Monday-Thursday  8 AM-11:30 AM Scholar hours

Lead Teachers: Mrs. Tecson and Mrs. Ramirez from Alvarado Elementary

Supporting Teachers: Ms. Allen from Logan and Ms. Saucedo from Alvarado Elementary

Scholars attending this academy will develop skills as advocates of change by engaging in discussions and activities to help define and identify social injustices in our community and foster empathy and understanding for others. Scholars will also participate in advocacy and activism as they work on self-selected projects to educate others and make a difference in their communities.

Program Hours: 11:30am-4:30pm; Monday -Thursday

We hope to be able to offer a space for anyone interested in participating in the after school care. However, our capacity will be limited by the number of students who apply and the number of staff members we are able to hire to accommodate the demand. You will receive confirmation of enrollment.
