We're going to build momentum together! Write on stream, have fun, and fuel your creative bug.

If you don't have an idea what your short stories will be? Not a problem. Daily writing prompts will be shared by our streamers, on TheWritingNetwork.com and CatrinaTaylor.com to keep you inspired to keep writing.

We are also releasing a guide for the challenge so you can write off line too!

Challenge Requirements:
Write a short story every day.
Short Story Defined by writing a complete story between 1000 words and 10,000 words
Genre is open to whatever you want to write

So, what are the commitments for this challenge?

1000 to 15, 000 words daily, written in any genre. Stories need to begin and end on the same day.

The most important part of this is to HAVE FUN!

What happens if I can only do one story every other day?

Then you'll end up with 15 stories to look forward to publishing, sharing, or leveraging.

What happens if I have an accountability partner?

You'll check in each week and share what you've written, chat stories, and layout the next week's plan. Be encouraging, consistent, and supportive.

What if I don't hit my goal?

As long as you're working for it, you'll see great results. If you want to get closer to the goal, remember participating with the live stream write alongs, and asking your accountability partner for suggestions may help you get there.

What can I do with all the short stories once the challenge is over?

A lot. I go over some of that later in this guide. Quick suggestions would include - sell them, use them for marketing, publish them to your subscriber encouraged platform, share them on your website, build reader interest, publish first to your newsletter.

I'm not participating in the challenge. Can I still watch the streams and write together?

Yes! Please do! The more the merrier!

What can I look forward to this month?

There will be daily streams on Twitch so we can write together. If you'd like to be counted among them you can use the link below to identify yourself as a participant, streamer, and supporter.

If you want to use your stream to encourage others through the challenge we want to highlight you before the event begins. You'll receive a follow up email with questions that will facilitate that. We will need an image, logo, or icon to go with it.

You will be featured on The Writing Network and shared across social media.

You'll be asked to be live during your scheduled times, be positive, and do what you do as a writing streamer - have fun!
