Join the Y.E.S. Serve-a-Thon volunteer day at the Potawot Community Food Garden. This is an annual event in honor of Cesar Chavez Day. It also serves as a finale for the annual Y.E.S. fundraiser!
Volunteers will assist with outdoor projects which may include weeding, tending greenhouse plants, orchard care, and more!

Please bring or keep in mind:
• Wear closed toe shoes
• Work clothes that can get dirty. Be prepared for rain and/or cold weather.
• Water bottle
TRANSPORTATION
University bus transportation to community sites will be provided to Cal Poly Humboldt students, staff and faculty. Campus bus will depart SBS at 9:15AM. Community members/volunteers may drive themselves to Potawot.
Please pre-register by Thursday, March 28th, 2024.
In just one day student volunteers and Y.E.S. staff collectively contribute about 200-300 hours to the Potawot Community Food Garden. Potawot is part of the United Indian Health Services (UIHS) and volunteers support garden projects that provide healthy food access to UIHS clients.
