Adas Israel Congregation, a Conservative synagogue in the heart of NW Washington, D.C. serving over 1700 families, is preparing for the 2022-2023 school year and is excited to welcome additional team members in our Religious School and Youth Department.

We are seeking Jewish Educators / Service leaders to lead Shabbat youth services for a variety of ages. Our youth services take place on Shabbat mornings from 11:00am-12:00pm, for children ages 5 & under as well as for children in Kindergarten-2nd grade. We are hiring for both age groups. Responsibilities will include planning and leading the group in age appropriate activities, prayers, games, song, and movement. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and engaging, with experience in Jewish education and a nurturing approach to young people.
 
Pay scale is flexible and commensurate with experience. Our pay scale begins at $50 for emerging Jewish educators and service leaders.
