Grade Change Request Form For Veritas & Virtual Learning Students
Due to the COVID 19 School Closures, it was decided that all high school students will receive a final semester 2 grade of either “P” (pass) or “E” (fail). Issuing a “P” or an “E” does not impact a student’s GPA (grade point average) but will allow them to earn credit for a class if they receive a “P”.

Virtual Learning Students: Any student can elect to have their “P” changed to the letter grade they have earned in their Edgenuity course.  For example, if a student earned a “C” in a course and would like to have the “C” posted to their transcript instead of a “P”, may do so.

Veritas Students: Any student can elect to have their “P” changed to the letter grade they have earned in their Edgenuity course averaged with their 3rd Card Marking grade before the school closure.  For example, if a student earned a “C”  in the 3rd Card Marking and an "A" in their Edgenuity class,  they can request to have the average grade of a “B” posted to their transcript instead of a “P”.

Any student wishing to have their “P” changed to their earned letter grade must submit their request on this form no later than June 19, 2020. Please remember, that a letter grade will affect your GPA. If you have any questions about your grade or these procedures, please contact Mrs. Jain (Veritas) or Virtual Learning Teacher for clarification.

**Please note:  If you are requesting a letter grade for more than one class, you will have to complete the form for each class separately.
