November Confirmation
Welcome to the November Confirmation Session! If you were not able to attend class in person, this will give you all the information you need on the Miracles of Jesus, the Parables of Jesus, and the Beatitudes! The past two months we have discussed what your role will be as a Confirmed Catholic, how you can be a part of the Body of Christ, the Church, and how we fulfil our obligations to worship and to give back. However, we are worshipping Jesus, and knowing exactly why we worship Him, what he teaches, and who he was/is makes up a big part of our inner conviction and desire to follow him. Today we will talk about those miracles he did that established who he was as the Son of God. We will also discuss what he taught about the Kingdom of God through Parables, and what he taught about how we should live our lives and what kind of people we should be through the Beatitudes. This information will guide us moving forward, and help you move into your adult Catholic lives with a firm foundation, aware of who you are called to be, and what you are called to be a part of :)

NOTE: This online class will be much easier this month if you have your packet with you. There are a lot of lists in there that you will need as references, as it might be pretty boring to listen to me list every miracle or parable. It's much easier to use these sheets to glance through as we are discussing the topic to get an idea of the scope, number, and focus of the miracles and parables. See if there are any labels that jump out at you that you remember from Mass :)

Our opening prayer will be:

O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary,
I offer you all my prayers, works,
Joys, and sufferings of the day,
In union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
Throughout the world,
In reparation for my sins,
For the intentions of all my associates,
And in particular for the intentions of the
Holy Father this month.
Amen.

Use this video to play along with the Four Corners Game at home! I will ready four miracle stories to you. After each of four miracles is read, answer the corresponding question. Or the reaction of the people around him, whether good or bad, or even the reaction of the recipient(s) of the miracle? How about the lesson that the miracle leaves us with? :)
