Working groups will convene regularly January-December to work to progress the association's yearly goals. At the end of the calendar year, the recruitment process for the groups will begin again for the upcoming year. This year-long experience will allow you to delve deeper and contribute your voice to the work we're accomplishing in the veterinary field. After the year if you find you're passionate about what one group is working on, you can sign up for another year. If you want to know more and contribute to a different area of the organization, you can choose to join a new group.
We're so excited to begin this project! Our growth over the past few years has been tremendous and we want to give everyone the opportunity to contribute their talents to creating a better world for the LGBTQ+ veterinary community.
The 2024 meeting times are
Advocacy: 1st Wednesday of the month @ 7pm ET, every other month beginning January
Education: 2nd Tuesday of the month @ 3:30pm ET, every other month beginning February
Student Empowerment: 1st Thursday of the month @ 7pm ET, every other month beginning in January
Member Outreach & Engagement: 1st Tuesday of the month @ 7pm ET beginning January
Strategic Partnership: 1st Monday of the month @ 9 pm ET beginning in January
